Your goal: adapt to a new site or co-leader without losing the routine, safety, or lesson goal.
Before class, decide who leads each part, who distributes materials, and who tracks movement/attendance. If instructions differ, resolve them before the demonstration. Do not change your partner’s activity mid-lesson without coordinating—unless immediate action is needed to stop a hazard.
Keep the assigned objective and safety rules. Adjust pacing, examples, or supported practice to the group. Ask for approval when a change affects the planned program, materials, or site arrangements.
Complete the site check-in and feedback report. Post a short handoff in the assigned group channel: what you covered, what worked, and what the next leader needs. Use the approved confidential route for sensitive student details.
Your co-leader starts changing your planned experiment while you are teaching. What should you do?
Pause to address any immediate hazard. Otherwise coordinate calmly, clarify the agreed steps, and avoid contradicting each other in front of students. Maintain supervision and settle remaining differences with operations through the group channel after class.
Before marking this lesson complete: explain the response in your own words. If anything is unclear, ask onboarding@kodely.io before continuing. The practice reveal itself is not a scored answer or a recorded signature.
